Exploring Identity Through Art
My art explores identity and social commentary. Beginning with my moniker "Anti-shade" during the height of the pandemic, I reflect on race, migration, and the lived experiences of being an immigrant artist.
I believe shared stories are the solution to divisiveness in our society. My work balances socio-political commentary with moments of whimsy and excitement.

Background & Practice
Subomi (Anti-shade) is a visual artist working on the digital canvas. Since 2020, he has produced works examining personal and collective identity, holding his first solo exhibition "Propaganda" in 2024.
